I liked this book because in the beginning you can't tell who is the murderer and that made it interesting.
I don't know if i recommend this book to classmates or not. It's their decision if they want to read it or not. I can't tell them to read it or not to read it.
This book is good in my opinion.

05.04.1989
Today  I arrived to Los Angeles . I came here to learn more about Libby Glass. In the morning I went to jogging like usual after that I took shower and ate breakfast. About 11 am I went to visit Libby’s parents. I found out that Libby’s long time boyfriend helps her parents because her father had an accident and he can’t speak anymore. Also I noticed that Lyle got nervous when I talked about Libby and he got angry. So after he leaved  I followed him  and after he told me about Libby but I think there is something more about that boy. After meeting Libby’s parents and  Lyle I called my friend who can help me. So here I am now writing it to my diary I have already packed my things and first thing in the morning I will leave to Las Vegas.
Tomorrow I’ll write what I find in Las Vegas.

Dear diary,
Today I found out that my husband is killer.  He has killed several women before and now I think it’s my time. I found out in his diary time 9 p.m and also he said to our gardener that we’ll be some days in London. I think that saved me when I told the gardener that we aren’t going anywhere. But that was yesterday. I don’t think that he waits any longer I have to escape quickly but if i didn’t manage then these are my last words.

Actually this book has three different stories inside it. Firstly "Used in Evidence", then "The Emperor" and "There Are No Snakes in Ireland".
"Used in Evidence" - It is about building a new shopping centre in Mayo Road. One man doesn't want to leave his house and police makes him leave. The workers find a dead woman body. Mr Larkin is charged with the murder of his wife but it appears that the dead woman isn't Mr Larkin's wife dead body. At the end of book Mr. Larkin smiles and it isn't said why but if you read book then you can guess it.
"The Emperor" - Is about two workers of Midland Bank. Roger Murgatroyd and John Higgins were the Midland Bank's Employees of the Year. They are rewarded with a holiday to Mauritius with their family. John doesn't have family and Roger has a wife they had been married for twenty-five years and Edna is always complaining about something. At on point Ram is so angry and flies back to India to buy a Indian Viper and bring is to Ireland to put it near foreman. At the end the foreman dies and snake was taking care of her babies.
I liked all of them because every story has something to say.
I don't know if i recommend this book to classmates or not. It's their decision if they want to read it or not. I can't tell them to read it or not to read it.
The book rate is in middle of good and fair. I can't say it was really good but fair is not enough.
This book was actually easy to read.
Good on yer! = Good on you! When Australian says this he means, "You are clever person!" or " You have done that well!"

"Used in Evidence" You can't always get away with the bad thing that you have done, they hunt you down someway.
"The Emperor" There is a limit how much one person can take in. At one point when the limit is crossed that person is like living bomb. Then you say all the things what have bothered you they may be really old.
"There Are No Snakes in Ireland" All bad that you do comes back to you. It is never ending circle.

"Dolphin music"

Questions:

  1. Title of the book, author, publisher, reading level
  2. Number of pages, number of words (graded readers usually give the number on the back cover)
  3. Rate the book: good / fair / poor
  4. Comment on the level. The book was too easy / at a good level / too difficult to read
The book is called "Dolphin music" it is written by Antoinette Moses and it is published by Cambridge University Press. This is 5th level book.
This book has 96 pages and I don't know about words.
This book is good it made me think of things.
I think this book was at good level.

It is 2051 and the government of Europe, CONTROL, keeps everyone happy in virtual reality. This is a world where it is too hot to go out and wonderful music made by dolphins’ gives everyone pleasure. People are controlled by CONTROL and BEATCON. All people who might be against CONTROL are immediately terrorists and BEATCON hunts them down. Saul is a music critic and he enjoys the life in virtual reality. There you can travel, have relationship. He has relationship with Caroline who is musician. People can’t travel from one place to another (in real world) without CONTROL’s permission and people grow more and more distant from each other.
Firstly people prefer virtual world to a real world. If people spend too much time in virtual world they might forget how the nature smells, the beautiful singing made by birds. Or might forget how it feels to be around people who you love and care about. The thing is virtual world can’t replace a real world.
Secondly the dolphins are kept in prison because it is very lucrative for some people who do everything to get money. Even going over others death bodies (in this case over dolphins bodies). Only thing that makes dolphins sing like that is the feeling of death. It is like swan song the last song dolphin makes. You can’t be so selfish and do harm to one’s who can’t defend themselves.

Dear Jane Tennison,
I am writing to invite you to meeting. I have some interesting information which might help you solve those deaths you are investigating on.
On Monday 13th January I saw something that I should have never seen. I was walking down the street when I heard screaming. As curious as I am I went that way where I heard it. It led me to one older garage and there were one man and that car the television showed. Also I saw more but it is too awful to remember it.
But since I am scared because of that man I am not writing anything more.
If you like to get some more information about this then I would like to meet you at Coco’s cafĂ© 3 pm on 19th January. But you must not show this letter to anyone and you must come alone or I just cancel the meeting.
I am looking forward to our meeting
Yours sincerely,
